Items - JewelryEdit

Jewelry is made by the Jeweler and can be traded to the merchants for a relatively high trade value. The jeweler currently makes rings and necklaces, both of which can be set with a gem or left plain. Plain jewelry is valued according to the metal from which it is made, but all rings or necklaces set with gems currently have the same trading value of 250.

Since jewelry with gems all has the same trading value, the best strategy is to create rings with gems, using a cheap metal such as copper, tin, or even iron. Rings require only one bar while necklaces require two. This allows the creation of high value trading goods from lower value raw materials. It currently does not matter whether emeralds or sapphires are used.

If no gems are available, then metal rings are the better choice and their trade value will depend on the metal used. Categories:
