Gold is a precious metal found at layers -65 to -84. It is the second rarest metal following platinum and more valuable than silver.

As Gold is a rare precious metal, it is normally used in the making of statues, walls or flooring. A single tile of gold floor constructed with one gold bar is worth 10x the worth of a single bar (10 x 25 = 250), giving a great boost to the worth of your great hall (total of 500). Also gold ore, gold bars and other gold items can be sold to merchants at a high price. A gold statue of normal quality, made of 4 gold bars is worth 5000.
